Description

Serafina II is an extremely versatile passenger vessel which has benefited from a significant professional re-fit in 2020 converting her to 100% electric propulsion. She has a current MCA Class V Passenger Certificate and is licenced to carry up to 60 passengers.The interior of the vessel benefits from large skylights and a retractable roof at the bow. With low air-daft Serafina is able to navigate waterways with restricted bridge heights.

She is road transportable and could therefore be relocated to any European destination. If you are interested, come an visit her in Oxford.

Accommodation

The vessel benefits from a large enclosed passenger area. The roof at the bow is retractable and there are three further large 'sun-roof' sections that can be opened in good weather. The vessel is licensed to carry 60 passengers but we have typically carried a maximum of 50 passenger for sightseeing cruises or 40 passengers for private charter.

Engine(s)

In 2020 Serafina II was fitted with a new Fischer Panda 20kw Electric Pod Motor. The motor is coupled with a 41kwh Lithium Ion battery pack (4 x Relion RB48V200) . The motor, controller and batteries remain under Fischer Panda warranty until November 2022.

In our service the vessel typically cruises at 8 kmph which is achieved using 30% power. At this speed approximately 10 hours cruising is achieved before recharge.
