Hull – GRP in original gelcoat
Engines – 2 x Ford Mermaid turbocharged and intercooled 180hp – less than 100 hours since remanufacture
I have owned Isabella for 12 years and in that time have completely restored her with no expense spared. I have taken a new job and now sadly no longer have the time to use her so she is ready for a new owner, in excellent running condition.
Engines are Ford Mermaid 180hp turbocharged and intercooled. Both were removed from the boat in 2020 and sent to Timik Marine for full remanufacture. They have run less than 100 hours since.
The original Borg Warner gearboxes being obsolete were replaced with PRM boxes and new propellers to match the new ratio, with rope cutters.
The engine space was completely stripped and while the engines were out the following work was carried out:
Space cleaned and gel coated
New insulation fitted
New morse control cables from both stations
New fuel lines and secondary fuel filters replaced with new twin change over housing with spin on elements
New engine suction skin fittings and valves
2 x new made to measure water tanks, approx. 250 litres each
Exhausts re routed over the transom in new Lloyds approved hose to stainless skin fittings
New battery box and shelf for calorifier
New gearbox and engine oil coolers (Bowman) fitted both engines
Header tank/heat exchanger and charge air coolers stripped, cleaned and reassembled with new seals
Other equipment and work done in my ownership:
Hull peeled and epoxied
2 stainless steel fuel tanks approx. 550 litres each with inspection/cleaning hatches
Calorifier heated by 240V element and starboard engine
New Eberspacher D4 and insulated ducting
Cockpit linings renewed with epoxied plywood and Formica and UPVC trims
New UPVC doors to wheelhouse
4 x new Blakes sea valves for toilet suction & discharge
New Lofrans 12v windlass and new 50m anchor chain
Removable stainless steel davits
New gas detector
3 x auto and 2 x manual bilge pumps
Echosounder (repeated on flybridge)
Koden radar
Chartplotter (inside and on flybridge)
Raymarine autopilot
2 x VHF radios inside, 1 on flybridge
Brand new 12V compressor fridge
